Salt Spring Island Transit System community buses are wheelchair accessible. Drivers are trained in the proper loading and securement of mobility aids.

Mobility Aids

The shuttles can only carry mobility aids that fit the loading ramp and can safely be secured. Most four wheel scooters cannot be accommodated.

Before boarding the bus, please remove flags and any bags from the rear of your mobility aid.
