Health Connections is a partnership that provides you with transportation options and increases your access to non-emergency medical appointments.

To take advantage of the transit service, you must call to arrange your trip. Transit staff will let you know the exact time of pick up.

When scheduling medical appointments with a doctor, let the receptionist know that you will be using Health Connections. Although medical appointments have priority, everyone is eligible to use this service if space is available.

Transit Service Monday to Friday

On Monday through Friday you can travel between Trail and Nelson by connecting with buses at Selkirk College in Castlegar.

Fare

Have your exact fare ready as the driver does not carry change. One-way fare from Nelson to Castlegar is $2.50. If you are traveling between Nelson and Trail, ask the driver for a transfer. When you board the bus at Selkirk College, show your transfer and pay $1.50.
