Health Connections is a partnership that provides you with
transportation options and increases your access to non-emergency
medical appointments.
To take advantage of the transit service, you must call to
arrange your trip. Transit staff will let you know the exact
time of pick up.
When scheduling medical appointments with a doctor, let the
receptionist know that you will be using Health Connections.
Although medical appointments have priority, everyone is eligible
to use this service if space is available.
Funding and planning is shared between Interior Health Authority,
Thompson Nicola Regional District and BC Transit. Decisions
about fares, routes and service levels are made by the Interior
Health and the Regional District based on information and planning
provided by the Municipal Systems Program of BC Transit.
The service is operated by Yellowhead Community Services.
